you sound just like me. waiting for something amazing to happen to you. i bet you had a pretty sweet childhood. lots of attention. i bet you were the special one, right? you were the smart one, the one who could go through life with ease, who just by what he was didn’t have to work, didn’t have to try. all he had to do was be himself and the sun would shine all around him. and now you’re waiting. because the sun isn’t shining anymore. sure, you have some friends who still think you’re pretty cool. sure, you still know a whole bunch of stuff, can still spin a yarn given the right circumstances. but it’s just… not like before. where is all the enthusiasm? what am i doing wrong? maybe i should join a band. maybe i should write. that’s a good one, i’m good with words. still… that all sounds like a lot of effort. jeepers. well, what is an Easy way to do it? i dunno…. i guess i’ll just sit here and think. maybe the answer will come to me
